This past season was the last year for the Big East AQ.. The BSC expired this year 2013. Next season is when the 4 team playoff's begin. The Big East will have to compete with CUSA, Mtn West, Mac, Sun Belt, for the remaining slot in a BCS bowl game.

Then we go get MTSU and Florida Arlantic to come on. We cash in big on short notice...if we could force the issue. I am sick if the changes in conferences. I just want to win and enjoy Marshall football.

ECU will be gone. They want out of CUSA bad and now they are getting what they wanted.

The new Eastern League will be set up to rival the MWC. If MU wants to join up then, I hope they are at work. If not we are relegated to pseduo IAA football, a shrinking fan base, and less relevance(even more than now).

Why wouldn't ECU want to get away sooner?  What advantage is there to being in a conference for one year with UAB and I-AA teams?  (See Bojo's Article, if this comment makes you uncomfortable).
