Bust is living a revisionist history. Figured I would remind him and others of previous comments. These are all comments made by Bust. It shows how he has truly went from one extreme to the other.

Yes it is obvious about Bennett. I dont know what 24 is looking at. I agree Goran has all the tools to be tremendous. You cant coach 7’ and athletic. The one area Goran has to improve is strengthening his hands. He fumbles the ball around sometimes when he isnt ready for the pass. But he will play a lot behind Bennett and get great minutes. It is exciting to have those 2 for the next 3 and 4 years.

He just has a knack for the ball and seems like he is in on every play either scoring, passing or rebounding. I still can’t believe he is a freshman. Also west is looking much better and had a couple mean crossovers today and finished well at the rim. Most improved player has got to be Bennett. He is so much faster and more mobile this year. He is going to be huge for us this year. He told me today he weighed and he was exactly 300. But his body is totally different. He said he was shooting for 285. I told him he has improved so much already just his cardio and speed along with being able to get off the floor so much better. I said if you get to 285 you are going to take another huge step. He said that is where he wanted to be and said he was dedicated. He is a different player already the way he runs and gets off the floor. I thought we may be a year away from being really good but we may be there by middle of the season.

Fair enough. But don’t come around praising him and acting like you are his biggest fan and knew it all along. You are good at bashing but not much good at evaluating “future” talent.
I’ll stick to what I see and trust myself. The biggest question is getting a PG to smoothly run the show and getting them to mesh. Once that comes around, this team has more talent, depth and size than any of Danny’s teams. And all we lose is Sustic. Going to be a fun ride. Danny said it took him awhile to get this much talent, depth and especially size and he wants to keep it going. He knows what this young group is capable of.

But yes he is going to be good and still has 3 years left. He is going to be maybe the best true big man Marshall has ever had here. I will go that far and you can copy and paste that.
Marko is going to be a fan favorite imo. It just seems like he is always at the right place. He still doesn’t really know the system but is on of the most impressive guys.

A thread from Oct 2018. Did Sustic ever see the floor for us? This entire 7 page thread is very enlightening. I think it shows goherd24 as much more objective and reasonable poster compared to bust. I also think it was this kind of false pumping of expectations that lead many to start calling out the basketball practice reporters. This in turn lead to hurt feelings and some people quitting to post because of it.

But he is turning into a really nice player and just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait for this season to get started. The way Sustic and Bennett are coming on, I have upped my expectations.

He is who i wanted them ti sign more than anyone. St johns and boston college was interested also. He is going to be very good. Just wait and see.
Marko has a ton of skill and danny loves him. Danny told me when peneva was a freshman how good he was going to be. And he was dead on.
