Topic: Unenthusiastic Offense if killing us

Wonder what is going on.  Open receivers, dropped balls, no attempt to run the ball since the middle of the second quarter.  We are giving this game away.

We are leaving a lot of points off of the board.  Guys are dropping balls, but the offensive playcalling is fine.  If the players cant make the plays, what is a coach to do.  Just another road game under this tenure. :-\

Our defense, like always, has collapsed. They can play a quarter of good football at a time but they always have to follow it up in the next quarter by pretty much letting the other team walk into the endzone on nearly every possession.

Beyond that, our secondary is almost nonexistent at times. To make matters worse, we seem to be stuck in pass coverage all the time. It seems like we do best when we blitz often.

The ref was trying not to bust out laughing at us when he did the penalties for that kick into the mic...even the refs are laughing at us.

is it me or do we waste 2-3 timeouts per game because we cant get the play in????

On the 2nd timeout.  It looked like BM saw the 12th man break from the huddle and run off so to avoid the penality he called time out.  Did anyone else see that..and the funny thing is MS stood there like a deer in the headlights asking "why: did you call timeout...not a clue as to the pace or events of most plays

That very well might be the worst "attempt" at an onside kick I've ever witnessed..I mean wtf...Have these guys ever practiced one before, because it certainly didn't look like it.  Not that it was the only problem, obviously, and the odds are against it working but, just wow.......Nothing like giving yourself a ZERO% chance of success by being totally unprepared, on a lot of levels...again...

Thanks for bringing that up. I actually thought it was gonna work and we would get the ball back. Who was in charge of that call? Heads should roll, whoever it was. It was like they never practiced on sides before.... ???
