  • Someone posted this link to Randy's website on another board.  Great site which brings back tons of memories.  On the videos,  if you go through the materials there are some great clips of the glory days with many of Randy's amazing plays.

It also made me think about the confidence of the Team after Randy joined Marshall.  Really afer he was on the field I think that he helped shape the winning attitude of the program.  Remember the "Cat in the Hat" socks?  Great years.

I don't like to lose, and that isn't so much because it is just a football game, but because defeat means the failure to reach your objective. I don't want a football player who doesn't take defeat to heart, who laughs it off with the thought, 'Oh, well, there's another Saturday.' The trouble in American life today, in business as well as in sports, is that too many people are afraid of competition. The result is that in some circles people have come to sneer at success if it costs hard work and training and sacrifice.- Knute Rockne

  • Randy Moss IMO will go down as the 2nd best wide receiver in World History, and the most exciting, with definitely the most SICK catches.

  • I'm from D.C. huge skins fan ! Until I was a freshman at Marshall and saw a freshman named Randy Moss! The greatest wide receiver ever in football. He deserves a super bowl!

  • I'm sure he's putting Jerry Rice ahead of Moss.  As much as I love Moss I would have to also.  Jerry's stats, his World Championships, and his class over his whole career put him on another level IMO.  Moss is more athletic and more exciting but Rice, and I hate the 9ers, was steady as rock.

  • If I was Snyder, I would have that 96 video on constant play in the locker room. Yesterday was great and maybe we can get that swagger back.

I have watched that 96 video 3 times now.

  • if Moss got to play on a team like the 49ers and benefit from QB play like Montana and Young his entire career..........he'd smoke Rice in stats.  no question.
