I just wanted to ask everyone if they thought
that this would be the 3rd straight year that our
Game with ECU would feature a ECU receiver
catch the football then clearly get both feet down
( and perhaps head up field ), then get hit and
clearly fumble - only to have the play ruled an
incomplete pass.
Heck, I know we have played terrible under
Snyder but the day will come when we will have
to have someone that CUSA game officials will
respect and FEAR as a coach. Especially against
ECU, UCF ( Zero penalties 2007 ? ) and SoMiss.
The day is coming when HERD Football will be
back. And this post is about not having to be
17 points better than those teams to beat them.
CUSA was a necessary step since it was our only
alternative to the MAC but for Marshall to make
the BCS it is going to take more than facilities.
I know we have to have the coaching to teach
our players how to hold without getting called
for it. And not to move on the OL like it was
Spring Ball.
But I am also very tired of Conference USA and
what appears to me to liken unto an agenda.
