  • I forgot to renew my Big Green membership in 2021 but got an email from Ryan Crisp reminding me. So I was still able to renew.

Just wanted to give him and the BG a shout out for staying on top of it.

  • They are always on top of mine.  They do a good job from what I can tell.

it's beyond the typical.  usually, if you were a member the previous yr, you get a pledge reminder in the mail the following yr.  but once you stop giving, you usually don't hear anything from 'em, again.  so, for them to screen all the season ticket holders to see who isn't a member & to reach out & contact them, that's beyond anything they've done before.

  • Our BG is so poorly ran that we actually brag on them for doing the bare minimum part of the job....sad.

I suppose so but sometimes it seems the AD and BG only get talked about on message boards when things aren't going right. I just wanted to give a positive shout out.

  • Got the same thing a few weeks ago. I thought my wife was paying towards it and she thought I was. I could have sworn our season tickets were dependent on it. It turned out it lapsed years ago and neither of us had any idea.

  • BG is not very friendly to out of state alumni. I still donate and will not stop until I am senile or dead.

I've been a member since 1989 and I usually get a letter, email or phone call if I don't re-up every year. That's just been my experience. They should be proactive and reach out when it's needed.

You are exactly right. Only around 3,000 BG members is ridiculous with all of the alumni out there. There should be promotion and growth. Also, they run the tip-off club and mucked that up a few years ago stating that there were to many people joining and they needed to ?thin out the herd?, no pun intended. You?d think the more the merrier, but I guess that?s to much work for them in the BG office.

  • Big Green should put in their paperwork language to include an auto renew.

All annual contributions under $500 will auto renew for the next year unless notified in writing by the member 30 days prior to the? you get the point.

    1. If you are serious and in it to win it you?re committed.
    2. You don?t have to worry about forgetting.

Paid and get the same salary no matter what....should be performance based on percentage.

Yes, as long as you continue to give annually, they will contact you to remind you. But if you ever decline to donate & let your membership expire, my experience is they?ll drop you from the contact list going forward.
