to be fair, it could be just the opposite.  i would respect him not taking away anything from Corny in his time of elevation nor tarnishing the annoncement from Smith.  i'm glad there was a coaching change and that's the end of that

Corny is a son of Marshall who has earned his run at guiding Marshall hoops. As my right arm, corny was a huge part in making our program set many new heights. I want to offer my sincere thanks for his friendship and he has my total support on our dream of a successful, nationally-recognized program. Go Corny! Go Herd!

Scroll back up on the page and it will play, then forward to the 18 minute mark and it should start to talk about men's basketball and interview with Brad smith. Then it covers Corneys contract and then talks on Dan's statement on Corny.

I will give Danny a pass here.  No matter what any of us think about whether Danny should have remained coach or not, HE thought he still should be coach.  I'm sure he is going through a lot of emotions right now.  It will take him some time to process through it and I'm hopeful that he come back and be an ambassador for the men's basketball program.  He would be great in a fund raising role.

Best of luck to Danny.  I don't think he owes the fans anything.  He had a long run, with a spurt of greatness.

Pretty sure that Danny thought he was in a Coach for Life situation! Wish him all the best going forward.  Perhaps he should give Pickle Ball a chance!
