I wonder if the Belt would offer a chance to those two to join. It seems they have nowhere else but the WCC. Maybe even  K-State and Ok State too. Just a thought. Could make an interesting third division for the Belt.

I believe they are currently weighing 2 options. Either try and rebuild the PAC with the best of the rest that they can find, or join the MWC. IMO, they have no interest in the SBC.

They're certainly going to rebuild.  If they leave they throw away a LOT of money.  And they have the only votes.  Even the NCAA credits for this year belong to them for 6 more.  They only need 6 schools, which they can buy, and then fill in the rest over time.
