I'm pretty sure the men couldn't make the women's sweet 16.  For real.

  • I'd like to see Moreheads coach at Marshall. I think we would be able to land him or John Brannen with our salary.

  • One thing I've noticed in the tournament and even throughout the year. Is how much more structured other teams are and so much more disciplined than we are. It seems most players know their roles and play to their strengths. They also seem to value possessions more than we do. Instead we let Obinna run all over the court launching 3s and on a break he runs over people instead of giving it up. You have guys shooting 3s 6-8 feet behind the line. Way to many one on one plays. And other teams move their feet so much better on defense laterally and stay in front of their man way better than we do. But when your practices are 90% shooting drills just running thru your offense then you are going to learn much defense. Honestly the practices consist of very very little defense or rebounding drills. My goodness we need a coach that can adjust and draw up plays and change defenses when needed. We are a one trick pony and nothing else.

I'd almost bet, Marco and Goran can't get on the floor there either.
