since we are stuck with this coaching staff and DD is hard-headed, what i care about-

is if DD will be firm and consistent about not letting 99% of those (any year) entering the portal return if they don't find a suitable home.  maybe Braun (nothing personal) will be the 5th open scholly.

however, i'm not confident DD will succeed getting difference-makers with 4 or more open scholarships.

I'm hearing Pruett was officially put on scholarship.  If true, DD should be fired just for that.  Kid is D2.  And a reserve D2 player at that.  Sad what we settle for.

So our guards as of right now is Pruett and Nutter. They couldn't start for any D2 schools. Good grief this is becoming a laughing stock!!!

is there any reason to believe voyles would get a waiver?  he's played 4 full seasons of 20+ games each season.  he shouldn't be eligible for a 5th b/c he opted OUT of COVID season.

Right now there are four, possibly five, open scholarships, if Braun transfers out.  Counting the four players that ran out of eligibility, that makes 8, possibly 9 opens spots that has to be filled.  Since the roster basically has to be rebuilt, wouldn't this have been a perfect time to bring in a new coach?  Instead, we are stuck with the guy who made this mess to begin with and has been terrible at roster management and has given away numerous scholarships over his tenue at Marshall to players who had no business being recruited to this level.

Our AD would never do that (lower prices for prime seats). We're talking about an AD that still asks $100 at the gate on gameday for unsold chairbacks at the Joan.  Can you imagine someone deciding at the last minute to come watch a game between 2 SBC "powerhouses" (.500 Marshall vs whoever we're playing) & paying $100/seat!

there are no shocks left to give in the DD era. 
whether it would matter or not, it would not shock if Harding or Moore don't show up.
further, do you think DD has a plan for any future, disasterous scenario? 
does MU have student or employee recreation leagues as a last resort recruiting source?

Best of luck to both of them.  They were excellent representatives of the University.  I had hoped that Toussaint would have developed more, but bigs don't seem to do that in the current system.
