FIU just took the lead with a header of a corner kick. 2-1 10:08 left in first half. Was setup by turnover in back on goal kick.

Marshall had a great chance on a tremendous save by the FIU back line.

Halftime FIU 2-1. FIU has dominated play first half. Ball control and turnovers have been issues so far. The field conditions don?t help.

FIU is out playing us. They are really bringing the pressure to our back line. Their 2nd goal came about because of their pressure and we were a little sloppy and slow on the backline passes and they stole it, which set up the possession that led to the goal and their lead. We are being too slow and stubborn to resist kicking it away. FIU came close a couple of other times. Semmle has gone ahead and kicked it to midfield several times, which we normally do not do. But if we do not come out playing sharp on the back line, he should kick away every time.

Once we get to midfield there are openings. FIU is pressuring so hard that we've had numbers several times. But other than earning the PK, we have not made them pay.

We have to score 2 times to win the conference championship. FIU only needs to tie to win the conference.

We are going to have to play a lot better to win it.

My dad used to say, "When you're dumb you suffer." We did not learn a thing at halftime. That lazy ass pass from Semmle straight up the middle was just stupid based on what FIU has done tonight. FIU deserved that goal. 1-3. Almost impossible now.

As was said earlier this might be for the best. The Herd looks like it needed to be cut down a peg. Play like this in the NCAA and it will be a quick exit.

Geezus, we are having an off night. Hell now many times have Doc, Dan and every other coach %^&* the bed. We have the league tournament and NCAA. It will be OK.

This is the worst I?ve seen this group play in the last two years, just horribly mistakes leading to goals. Maybe the wake-up call we need before post-season play.
