Anybody have any questions they want asked to Doc at C-USA Media Day tomorrow? I know a guy (and a gal) who will ask him anything within reason.

Why no staff changes after 3-9 after he publicly said there would be? Why should fans expect different results with the same staff, same personnel and arguably a tougher schedule (minus Ville)?

For a softball. With a lot of players returning who do you expect to break out among the new guys

1) Doc you are on record saying that the 2016-17 team was the most talented team you have had. Other than your QB getting his bell rung early in the year, what do you attribute the loosing season to?
2) Will there be offensive play calling changes? Will we see any motion, Shifts, QB under center sets?

Asking a coach a question is like planting palm trees in Vermont. I mean, you could take the time and effort to do it, but the result is a forgone conclusion, no matter how well you prepare the soil, apply the fertilizer, tend it daily. The whole effort is a waste of time and a curious endeavor to start with. There is an understandable desire, but the predictably disappointing results are known to begin with. What's the point.

No, we replaced two coaches who left on their own volition. I guess we can speculate on why these coaches left (for example, because they either thought they had better career opportunities outside of Huntington or they saw the writing on the wall that this year was going to be more of the same from last year), but the fact remains that the Herd leaders to be did not voluntarily make changes to right to ship. Big difference.

If you're asking me, the next one that screws up and breaks team rules and/or breaks the law. My problem with Doc on this aspect of player recruitment and retention is not necessarily that he kicks some knuckleheads off the team. Most of the time they have to go for committing stupid mistakes. My problem with him is that he recruits these highly questionable and at-risk players to begin with.
Of course this also doesn't address Doc's generally poor record on player development or his apparent favoritism and/or inability to let a player get out of his doghouse for Mickey Mouse reasons. And, to be clear, with this comment I'm not referring to situations like the Tiquan deal as he should've been cut loose long before the news came out about his illegal activities. Doc knew about some serious accusations with solid facts and still kept him around, which is complete nonsense.
