  • Forget those seats going down the foul line , build up and throw a roof over it , the seats , not the field .

  • A skeptic since 1966.  I will believe it when they say, "Play Ball".

  • Athletic Department should pull up the pictures of the baseball stadium at Dallas Baptist University and check it out.  Smaller stadium but very nice with sky boxes and a killer video board.
Retired 10 years early to follow Herd sports.
Those 10 years have been marvelous.

  • That's a great looking ballpark . The smaller stadium would be all the Herd would need . I think our current softball field would look good , just make it a few times larger would be a good fit. I'd like to see as much seating as possible under roof , watching ball games in the sun can be brutal.

I don't think you have to worry much about the Sun being brutal in Feb and March.
However, a roof is well needed because the baseball season starts in cold February. Unlike the teams down south, Huntington doesn't start getting warm until the last week of April.

  • just drawings and of course there'll be a budget...but does everything have to be square, 90 degree angles and please please don't let concrete facing dominate....it makes some nice designs look cheap...in the end i'm just glad it's going to happen
