Topic: 200 IQ Play: Medical redshirt for Green?

Green has only played 4 games this year.  If he doesn’t another snap this year, he could possibly apply for a medical redshirt year and get that rare 6th year like Stockstill and like Dougherty at WKU did.  If Green’s our for a couple more weeks and our season goes really south, do we look to position Green for a medical redshirt year?

Basically he is SOL.

He can apply his senior season, but generally speaking, they don't give exceptions to most who redshirted as freshman, but sometimes they do.

Lot of football will happen between here and there. He may be ready to turn pro. He may be playing for Paintsville College. We can kick the can down the road as to worrying about this.  We have so many more things to worry about today.
