"For years we realized we needed an indoor practice facility," Pastilong said. "Former Gov. Caperton was sympathetic to our needs and enabled us with the financial assistance to carry out this project."

  • At first, I was like, "They're playing 2 MAC teams next season!"

    Then reality hit me!

Glad it excites you. I am quite sure it doesn't excite future recruits. You aren't going to get those 4-5 star blue chip guys playing low life AA programs. Tech is a great program, they just played and could have beat a very good Auburn team. They might have their share of discipline issues, but that's life in college football these days.

I'd love to see us continue this series with VA Tech, it is good for recruiting, and we will eventually find a way to beat them.
    GO HERD!!!

Calling William and Mary a "low life AA program" spits in the face of all the accomplishments Marshall had in 1-AA.  It demeans Chad Pennington, Randy Moss, and Troy Brown.  I understand your point about Va Tech vs. William and Mary but lets not belittle their program.  They went 11-3 and are probably better than 4 or more MAC teams last year.  While that may not be saying much, I would think most Marshall fans would recognize the level of play the upper tier of 1-AA can produce.
    Gatorade sucks.  Water is better.
