  • You have the highly touted FR who did not play last year but with losses to graduation and the portal it seems like there are about 6 schollies available if my math is correct. I would guess a couple will go to PG types and the rest will go to bigs??

Government is the most dangerous institution known to man. Throughout history it has violated the rights of men more than any individual or group of individuals could do: it has killed people, enslaved them, sent them to forced labor and concentration camps, and regularly robbed and pillaged them of the fruits of their expended labor. ~ JOHN HOSPERS

  • Rumor was that there were 2 additional recruits besides the player from Cincinnati who were ready to commit/sign.  Was wondering when these recruits will be reported signed by MU?

Also, how is the recruiting of "bigs" going.  With Mahogany gone, the tallest player on the team is 6'0" tall, and that's Meridith Meier.
Retired 10 years early to follow Herd sports.
Those 10 years have been marvelous.

  • Saw a post on FB by Luke Creasy that Meredith Maier; Aislynn and Alasia Hayes have withdrawn from the portal. Good news for WB.

would that be Jayda Allie (a SO this fall)?  so, with the addition of FR Ingram, we have 4 more scholarships to give?  coach will have a nice team if she can get 4 solid players

    Timberlynn Yeast.
Collected over  2,100 career-points and over 1,000 career-rebounds in her high school career for Mercer County in Kentucky ... The 2023 Co-12th Region Player of the Year winner ... 2022 Gatorade Player of the Year nominee ... 3x All-State player and a 3x All-Tournament player.

Allie averaged 16 ppg and named MSAC POY so she will likely be in mix for playing time as well.

I believe the spring signing period ends this week, so we should hear something soon

i had incorrectly thought that Yeast had played in some games- i didn't know she sat out due to injury.  well, this is good that two potentially solid players will be matured a year and active.  hope coach gets a total roster to keep the substitution, pressure D and scoring style

  • Coach Juli is going to continue the winning program established last season. Much to be excited about!. I made a direct contribution to the Women?s Program and Coach Juli took her valuable time now to send me a hand written thank you note. This was a very good  indication of her attention to detail and the Class she represents the program with. I encourage support for what should be another great season!

If I recall correctly, she was hurt during her senior year in HS. Don't know how many games missed in regular season but she missed the entire state tourney I believe. Consider she amassed those stats while missing a part of senior year. Originally a Buffalo commit but she de-committed after some player defections. Her highlight tape looks pretty good.

Kim said that Yeast has the potential to be the best player she's ever coached.
