  • Happy to report that the Herd baseball team has not called it quits as I feared was possible given the results of the Georgia Southern and EKU series. We go for the series sweep against Georgia State tomorrow after winning with a walk-off suicide squeeze bunt in the 11th inning Friday night and a 9-1 blowout today.
Harlow and Blevins each had good bounce back performances after getting rocked last weekend. Ayers has been a pleasure to watch all season, and Ethan Murdoch is really starting to come on strong.

  • Herd comes into today?s game a couple games out of the 10th spot.  A sweep would be a big help as the 10th spot is held by the panthers.

Need a nice start from Lyles as the panthers bats are bound to wake up.

  • Played well. Finally the bats came alive. Blevins is one heck of a pitcher. Great control and placement. Got to watch a game in person for the first time. The facility is top notch. Well done.
They could turn the PA down a bit though.

Stadium is terrific and a great addition to Huntington.

Food options are really bad. Gotta get that fixed 😂

  • My hope is in future seasons they establish some kind of concession area, at least for certain games, that provides novelty food items you see at balllparks around the country.

    Improving food options is critical

Makes it more of an "event"

  • Anyone know if the panthers are sticking around?   Are they going to try and resume?

  • Got to attend my first baseball game Sunday.  Love the new stadium.  As a kid my mom would drop me off at the old St. Cloud stands and I'd watch a doubleheader with two bucks in my pocket for all the Coke, popcorn, and dogs I could eat!  This is amazing upgrade!  Enjoyed the burrito at the food tent along the 3rd base side.
