  • What they are probably looking at are 2 new coordinators, a freshman QB, a new center, a defense that wasn't very good last season returning a lot of starters.  Looks like a program that isn't very good and is rebuilding.
Imagine the surprise on so many faces this year when the Herd starts kicking butts again.

  • Nothing surprising here, CFN has hated the Herd for years.  I can remember reading blog entries by one of their writers when he misquoted something Marshall and a ton of people sent him an e-mail.  Good times.
    GO HERD!!!

I am certain if you review some of my previous posts about CFN you will see I think they are a joke and bring NOTHING of value to the table. Back in the late 90's I would visit their site daily but then something happened and the material they published became a joke. They lost all credibility with me.
Look at some of his other picks..

  • There is a little logic to it.  You pick Marshall to beat Ill. St. and everybody says big deal.  If the Redbirds top the herd, you look like a genius...if not everybod just thought you were joking. It's a pretty good play.

  • I have tried to attack this game as close to the vest as is possible. I have did my best to be nice, towards all ISU foes and to never flame this great opponet we have to face for our first game. I will just end this post by saying I will personally cover all this fellows bets, and will bet him on the side 5-1.
