  • Still love The HERD, but:

    1. Terrible, terrible loss. Worst Herd loss I've personally seen in over a decade.
    2. IMO, Snyder isn't a good head coach. Nice man, but a bad head coach. We clearly got out coached on this one (and others). In every game, Snyder's facial expressions, posture and mannerisms scream, "I don't know what the hell is going on." I sincerely have my doubts about him improving.
    3. Kueck should have been gone years ago.
    4. Imagine what next year's season ticket sales are going to look like....
    5. Honestly, Rice and UAB might be our only wins this season. Cincinnati, Memphis, Tulsa, Southern Miss, UCF, East Carolina, and Houston are going to be tough, tough games.
    6. Even though these are just football games and there's more important things in life, I feel this loss has really set our program back. We've gone from "We play for championships" to "We can't beat a Div. 1-AA team at home." It's shocking to see how far we've fallen since our 1997-2002 run.
    7. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see a bowl game for us this season.

    GO HERD! GO CUSA!

  • This is our worst loss in nearly 25 years, all things considered.

  • The way we are playing Rice is our greatest hope right now. I thought UAB, after the first week, but they have markedly improved each week since.

  • We need someone that has some "fire" in him--when you have the minister from Christ Temple as your teams spiritual leader and motivator something is wrong.

Next year's season ticket levels were going to drop significantly since there would be no WVU fans to purchase packages.  Now, with the impending losing season, I would imagine if the Herd reaches season ticket levels equal to 2006 then that would be a plus.
