  • Talk about domination.....The Herd Volleyball Team beat WVU three games to one tonight at the Civic Center to win their SIXTH MATCH IN A ROW against WVU.

    The scores: 30 - 28, 29 - 31, 30 - 24, and 30 - 17.

The Herd played mediocre at best in the first 3 games.....winning 2 out of 3 but finally got things together in game 4  and won by 13 points.

The Herd will have to play a flawless match tomorrow in Henderson Center against Pepperdine to win that match.  Game time is 11:30 AM on Saturday.

Pepperdine has a front line (get this): 6' 6", 6'5", 6'5" with two more at 6' 3"......and the 6' 3" players are real bangers and can really spike the ball.
The Waves beat Akron 3 straight without breaking a sweat.
Retired 10 years early to follow Herd sports.
Those 10 years have been marvelous.
