The Hargrave players will be here for the game Saturday and will play Marshall's JV on Sunday. Because of NCAA regs, we will only be abloe to play "active" players...mostlikely no one who saw extensive action Saturday and no Redshirts (counts as a game).

Long as it's a football weekend we may make the most of it. I'm sure we will see some future Herd stars...possibly even on both teams as Hargrave players often find their way here.

I have read that Synder is very interested in at least 3 of these players coming in tomorrow. I hope the crowd puts on a good showing and the Herd wins big.

At Charleston QB luncheon this past Thursday, Coach that Hargrave would win this game........ for sure, since Hargrave needs a win, and he wants three of their players.

Apparently that is how we got Cody Slate.............

as you recall, Hargrave killed us last year and will probably do so again. We had guys playing way out of psoition just to field a team. As was mentioned above, players can only participate in 12 regular season games a year and this would count as one. If a player is red-shirting and played in this game, he would blow his red shirt.

No doubt that Wes Beardain will QB again this years, just like last year. There are no other possibilities.

Hargrave will be a bunch of guys that have practiced and played as a team all year and will be far ahead of the curve compared to our guys.

Snyder wants to use this game every year to act a as free recruiting trip for the Hargrave kids.

Why is Hargrave such an attractive destination for these kids anyways? I assume there are alot of prep schools to choose from. So how does one school get the best prep kids year in and out?
