  • Absolutely. We've got some players people. Let's see how the rest of the season pans out. Darius Marshall, Passmore, Tavarius Thompson, Slate... all great players on offense. Bernie didn't look too bad either. I think we'll be ok when we get some depth on defense.

  • I couldn't have said it better myself. Between Slate, Passmore, and Marshall we have some serious playmakers on this team. While watching the game, I just kept saying WE'VE GOT TO GET THE BALL TO THESE GUYS AS MUCH AS WE CAN!!

It was a great forum for these guys to show how special they are going to be.

  • I agree and WVU would have got beat today had we been deeper at D Line.
Wvu will not be in the NCG, they are not that deep either!

Overall I like what progress we made from week one to two!

  • Cincy has looked good, but haven't played the teams we have.   We have to guard against a let down because this is New Hampshire's superbowl and a lot of D1AA supporters have next week marked down as a win.

It is completely unlikely but possible we could win every game from here. We should be in every game...

And when you think about the weapons we have coming in next year and our youth...it is pretty exciting.

  • I like our future. I am very impressed with Passmore and Marshall. We need to get the ball to these guys more.

  • the problem with passmore is that next year is his last.....if Im not mistaken....hopefully Travarious (sp?) Thompson is at that level also....

We need to keep after some 4.4/4.3 receivers on the recruiting front.

  • Outside of Passmore, nobody stands out. They are all decent players but we need to keep recrtuiting WR's even if we have a glut of them right now. We just need to only go after ones that seem like a "reach" for our program.

  • Passmore's most impressive play IMO was on a simple third down screen when he improbably eluded two tacklers to make the first down.

  • Yeah, he showed some shiftyness on that screen and he almost took that handoff all the way.  Just barely got tripped up.

  • It wasn't a screen, but a quick out. He made 2 guys miss, without any blockers and turned a 5 yard catch into much more. We haven't had a playmaker at WR to be able to do that in a while.

He came back & played after he was hurt, so I would think it's not bad.  When I watched the replay when I got home from the game, the slow-mo of him landing on his knee was painful looking...

This thread is right, he is as advertised....I can see him only getting better.
