  • I think we are starting to see how much we miss Peterson.

Legg just doesn't have what it takes.

  • D comes through again.

  • Way to shut me up Holmes. I was about to get on him for pass coverage. He's a great run stopper, but struggles with the pass. That's the way to show me. Good job, Holmes!!!!!!

  • Please someone tell Doc to grow a pair and bring in Fro for a series. Offense needs a spark.

  • Question. If Curraji(sp) can boom it out of the end zone can't we let him try some long FGs? I haven't seen practice, and I'm usually a proponent of going for it in 4th if it's short yardage, so I don't know how he does on FGs. But it would be nice to have a guy who had a chanc at a 50+ yarder.

not the OL.......the play...... tough to zone block on short yardage......numbers were against.....got to get a hat on a hat......Defense has more hats at the point of attack on a play like that........needed a lead blocker

We can't because it would be known as a run every time.  I with we would actually run some sets under center at different times so we could mix up things.

  • 4th and one and stopped. Are you kidding me?  Time for the fullback to carry for one yard. Watson can't get a yard.

I give up on this.  Doc talked a big game but has yet done it.  Yes Cato has done we'll but mixing it up would be great.

That or they need to check off the play and pitch it outside. Our spread is very plain and lethargic in the running game.  The qb has to check off and not hand the ball off or you don't call that play. But, our qb is no threat to run.

He either has to check off and not hand the ball off to the running back and he boot legs outside. He is no threat to do it.

    Or

You don't call that play to start with.

  • I really don't think our offensive problems are o line, RBs, QB. I think it's that we're trying to slow it down too much. Cato and co perform much better when we go really quick. Just MHO.
