    • Huff really baffle me.  Is he holding Cole back behind TJ to prove he is the captain of the ship?  Sorry I would not have a freakin SR that has never played who does nothing for us next year.

    Huff ain't worried about next year. He's playing for tonight. The defense has actually been pretty good, with little help from the offense. Lucky TD might be the difference.

    • Huff is absolutely terrified to play another QB and look stupid. Fancher is absolutely awful. Been saxked 3-4 times, overthrew a couple, threw that last screen begind rhe receiver... smh

    Why would you play an untested freshman whose only other offer was from Ball State and a Div 2 OVC school?

    • Cam Fancher is not a good enough QB to be beneficial to us playing less than 100%. For the love of Pete put a QB in there that is fully healthy.

    And where is Smoke Jones and AJ Turner? I love Payne but he isn't an every down back.

    • Yet another game an opposing offense gashes our D line and a ball carrier, receiver, etc., goes 15, 20, 30 yards UNTOUCHED with no HERD defender in sight!  Our defensive "assignment" football is a "JOKE"!  Steve Cotten just noted that the same thing has plagued the HERD all season long.  Obviously, our D coordinator has NO clue!!

    Now on the next HERD offensive drive our O line gets blown up by their JMU counterparts!!  Game has clearly been a case of "men against boys" thus far.  Oh, and their defensive staff is exposing our O coordinator, Trickett, as the inept, neophyte that he really is!!!  PATHETIC!!!

    • Couple observations. 1) As an offensive line are you not taught to block inside out?  Meaning if you?re gonna left somebody go unblocked it?s outside?
    2). Why are we giving a 10 yd cushion on 3rd and 6 and 3rd and 5?

    Because you get some game film in him to figure out what he may need to work on. Why the fick do you play a SR with zero game experience?  Why the %^&* we play an untested Cam Fancher last year as a redshirt freshman?  Huh answer me this?

    Well, he has put out offers to play at a 1-AA program and they were not interested in taking him. He might play at the D2 level? His younger brother might be a good prospect, but he plays against weak high school competition.
