We need talent and depth on both the OL and DL.  I'm sure the coaches are happy to have him.  I hope he contributes more at Marshall than he did at Illinois.  Given our struggles on OL and losses on the DL, I'm sure it will not be hard for him to crack the 2 deep somewhere besides special teams.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he doesn't even play much here; maybe a support player; hope I'm wrong because I suspect there is NIL money involved.

But hey, I'm not impressed that much by someone who Portalled (new word) to UI from an FCS school, now back to G5 from a P5 school.

A person I know grew up playing with steph curry and pitts until college.  He said until then everyone in the Charlotte area viewed pitts as the better player. 

Pitts avg 16.2 ppg junior year.  Most shot attempts he ever took in a game that season was 15.  Usually he avg about 12 shots a game.  In DD shoot from anywhere anytime offense he would avg 25ppg.  And the competition levels between Pitts and Taylor eras.  Pitts in a landslide.

Oh God this isn't even close... Pitts is a top 5-7 PG in Herd history in my opinion, maybe even a little higher. He was REALLY REALLY good. And has had/still having a really solid professional career in various foreign leagues.

Knew it was going to be Illinois or Indiana when it said Big 10 instead of the school name.  Not that it matters, I'm sure he's a quality player.  Just funny how we subconsciously pump things up.
