"I think it's a great game for us and our fans," Marshall head coach Doc Holliday said. "They can get in the car and drive two-and-a-half hours up the road, so it will be a great venue for our fans and for us."

The contest will be Marshall's second road trip of the season with the other being the Herd's 37-20 loss at N.C. State in the second game of the season.

In that game, Marshall did not appear to be intimidated by the crowd or the atmosphere, jumping out to an early 17-7 lead on the Wolfpack before mistakes piled up in the second half.

A similar start is hoped for by the Herd, who wants to take the crowd out of the game, much like it did in the early stages at Carter-Finley Stadium against the Wolfpack.

Marshall's players expect a great atmosphere, considering the Bearcats haven't been home since the season-opening win over Austin Peay on Aug. 31.
