Hello Marshall nation, I come in peace. I'm excited for our game Saturday night. I don't really know what to expect, on paper it seems like two very evenly matched teams so it should be a good one Saturday night at Nippert. I remember when you guys came up and played us in 2007, that was an awesome atmosphere that night and you guys brought probably close to 5K. Its looking like a sellout is imminent Saturday night and I'd assume Herd fans will be there in full force. It'll be fun. If you have any questions about my Bearcats or coming to Nippert if you haven't been, ask away.

Hello, any parking tips you may have would be greatly appreciated! My family and I are planing on getting into town around 4:30.

Welcome to Herd fans! We appreciate you stopping by to say hello. Hopefully, this will be a different result for us with a win, :). Can't wait to see you guys again in Huntington. I hope this series can continue in both football and basketball.

I'm in Virginia, so I'll have to wait to catch you in Huntington, but i have no idea how many folks you'll have. As a general rule Huntintonians love Cincinnati. Our program is in a funny place. i think we're a better team than we were in 2007, but we fell so incredibly flat last year we're really having to rebuild the excitement.

The last I heard we had sold about 500 tickets including 2 to me...

There's a very good number of Marshall fans & Alumni in Cincinnati & Northen KY. Also in Lexington, Dayton & Columbus.
I hope to see a great turnout....

I've got 3 people coming with me. I'd say this game is close I don't see this game being a blowout either way. I've watched a lot of UC and they seem to match us pretty well, a sub par offense and a good defense in general. I'm thinking UC doesn't want to go into conference play 2-3 and we aren't that good on the road.
I'm thinking UC wins by 7.

If you're planning on parking around 4:30 or 5 when you get into town, you'll have plenty of options. I personally park in the Campus Green Garage and it's about a 5-10 minute walk right into the stadium, but if you get there early you'll have plenty of options. If any of you guys plan on trying to park after 6:00 it will be an absolute mess and you'll find yourself driving all through campus trying to find parking. Do not put yourself in that position. If you haven't been to Nippert, I honestly think you'll be shocked by our gameday atmosphere. It'll be sold out and it's our annual "ring of red" game so the whole stadium will be decked out in red with the exception of the green that you guys bring. It'll be a fun night. For the first timers, leave some feeeback on this thread of what your impressions were after the game if you would.

Campus green lot is sold out. Woodside garage right next door still has spots. $15
-
I will be there plus 3 more. Family in Covington. Designated drive to and fro. Go Herd!
-
you must buy a parking pass for any of the garages on line in advance of the game

Which garage would you suggest Woodside or Stratford Heights? Both are available for the prepaid parking. Stratford Heights looks a little closer but you have to cross a main street, just wondering which would have easier access and the easiest to get out of after the game.

Thanks Bearcat09. Looking forward to it. Hearing Nippert is a tough place for visiting teams to play and excited to see it. Went ahead and booked parking in the Eden St. garage. Just picked one and it looks to be the furthest.

11 of us coming.

I've got myself and 3 coming Saturday

Is there parking permits required to park?

Any options for tailgating around or near the stadium? I know the campus is in a bad area but any open lots?
-
Ticket office reported on Twitter all 2k tickets given are sold out.

I walk the Flying Pig Half Marathon and Cincinnati has some beautiful spots up in the hills where you can see the river.

I have been to Nipert several times. Got a wild hair on a Thursday last year to watch UC play Houston. Took the 3hr drive. Great people and atmosphere. I always hit up Homage on Vine and drive straight up.

Was going, but had a job fall behind schedule and if I don't work this weekend, i have to call and reschedule with 10 different clients, so not gonna happen
