Marshall just fired the ONLY coach in the school's history (below is the only one you monkey-board weasels who claim to support the Herd have seen in your LIFETIME!), that won an NCAA Tournament game, first coach to take them to the tourney in 30 years and a member of your Hall of Fame, Dan D'Antoni (I'm so mad I can hardly breath!!)... Good luck in the future and I'll check back in 30 years from now to see if you miserable trolls can ever be satisfied!!!

54% conference winning percentage.....and the longer he was here, the weaker the conference competition got.

Had he truly been noble, he would have retired at the age of 76 after using a season full of excuses and blaming every one (including players he recruited, fans, assistant coaches, age of opposing players, etc) but himself. Never once pointed the finger at the man in the mirror.

Did we expect any thing to change? The guy has already admitted that he was still figuring out the portal and wanted the roster like the '60s. His words......not mine.

Live off 2018 all you want, but we are in 2024 and a lot has changed.

Maybe you'll still be banned in 30 years after this little explosion.  You haven't been missed, and yes we're all happy that the guy who never won the conference in 10 years is gone.  Glad you're upset.  We believe Marshall can do better than a flash in the pan tournament streak 6 years ago, even if we never have.  10 years was long enough to prove that he is a bad coach ALL things considered and his most recent 3 year span is atrocious.  Don't go away mad....

Wolfie, get a grip.  What you have read and heard on this board from almost all is that we appreciate what DD accomplished up to the late 2010 decade but the last couple of years has been an embarrassment.  Wish him well in retirement and that is all that needs to be said.

DD didn?t recruit Elmore, and he wasn?t going to take him.  Greg White had to convince him.  So when people say he built that team, 2 things:  The best player on the team just showed up one day and the longer Elmore played in Dan?s system the worse Elmore and the team got.  We made no coaching adjustments with those post ncaa teams that had a lot of talent.

If Dan was any good he would have been hired away. Same thing for Doc and Huff. There's a reason why no other teams want them.

You me until you discussed Elmore and team got worse.  That's foolishness and you should collect yourself before posting.  Team did get worse Elmore's Sr year due to roster mgt  (Peneva gone replaced by Sustic).

There is plenty to critic on DD especially roster mgt and recruiting and Elmore is only reason we didn't figure out and fire DD several years ago. 

We should be more concerned about joke of athletic department at this point.
